Fryxell and Amy McCarthy, Teton Pass
This short film celebrates winter, canine companions, and skiing on Teton Pass. The soundtrack “Falling Snow” is by Eric Richard Stone.
Most of the video was captured on Super Bowl Sunday, 2014. Starting on the summit of Teton Pass, Fryxell, Amy, and I enjoyed the 14-mile "Super Bowls Ski Loop" that included fantastic powder skiing in the East Fork of Coal Creek, Calvert's Ridge, West Super Bowl, East Super Bowl, Columbia Bowls, and Edelweiss Bowl. In eight delightful hours we ascended and descended 7,400 feet of light and fluffy Wyoming powder snow.
Man, what is all the white fluffy stuff? Must be nice to have snow you can actually play in.
ReplyDeleteWe got hit by the dreaded pineapple express, and had our previously epic conditions turn to icy crust.
Thanks for the escapism.
