Paddling the San Juan River combined with a 42-mile hike out Grand Gulch and Bullet Canyon created an extraordinary week-long packrafting adventure through an archeological wonderland and a proposed National Monument. Truly a landscape worth protecting.

Hi Brian, I've got permit to hike to the San Juan this spring, wondering if you have any more pics of the damaged trail and the climbing section near the river. Wasn't clear rom you pic what needs to be climbed. Great trip report.
ReplyDeleteHi MG. It would be good to hear how you got on with the damaged trail. Did you make it past? We are hoping to hike this area in October.
